イシリエンのコルマッレンの野での栄誉礼の後、レゴラスが自身の大海とアマンへの憧れを歌った歌。

海に行こう、海に！　白い鷗（かもめ）が叫び鳴く。
風が吹く。白い水沫（みなわ）がとぶ。
西に、果遠く、丸い没日（いりひ）が沈む。
船よ、灰色の船よ、あの呼び声を聞いたか？
私以前に立ち去って行った同胞（はらから）の声を？
私も去ろう。立ち去って行こう、私を育てた森を。
われらの日々は終わり、われらの年々は尽きるのだから。
大海原（おおうなばら）をただひとり渡って行こう。
最後の岸に落ちる波は、長く、
失われた島に呼ぶ声は、快い。
その島はエレッセア。人間の見いだせぬエルフの故郷。
木の葉の散ることのない、とこしえの同胞（はらから）の地よ。*1
