[[モリア]]の[[西門の扉>モリアの壁#gate]]に描かれた、三日月(crescent moons)を付けた木の図像。扉を見た[[レゴラス]]はこの木を'''And there is the Tree of the High Elves!'''と単数形で言及しているので、西門には同じ木が二本描かれているものと思われる。
[[月]]を付けていることから、モデルはその最後の花が月となった[[テルペリオン]]なのかもしれない。だが『[[指輪物語]]』の索引では、[[ガラシリオン]]が[[二つの木]]の年長を由来とした「上のエルフの木」であるとも説明されている((Galathilion [the Tree of the High Elves, which was derived from the elder of the Two Trees of the Valar, Telperion and Laurelin]))。
